Get ready for the EUPEX technologies! EUPEX will open its target Pilot system to organisations interested in testing our technologies. Until it is ready, we propose early access to our software stack on our main Alpha system

Phase 1 of the EUPEX Early Access Programme (EAP)

The EUPEX Pilot System will integrate different European technologies – hardware and software wise – in particular SiPearl’s Rhea processor. In order to allow the European applications ecosystem to prepare for this new processor type, we offer to the EuroHPC CoEs and to selected organisations access to CEA’s Joliot-Curie system with its A64FX partition (which is similar to the Rhea processors to come). In addition, the EAP beneficiaries will also have access to the software tools which are planned to be deployed on the EUPEX Pilot.

Getting started with the EUPEX EAP

Who is it for?

Phase 1 of the EAP is open to the EuroHPC Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and on request to selected EU-funded research projects.

We accept applications from CoEs/projects only, not from individuals.

What is available in Phase 1 of the EAP?

1. Access to CEA’s Joliot-Curie system with its A64FX partition

2. Access to a selection of the software tools which are planned to be deployed on the EUPEX Pilot

How to apply?

Check with your CoE/project if you can be the EAP contact point on behalf of the CoE/project, and email us. Please specify your objectives.

If your CoE/project is already taking part in the EUPEX EAP, do check with your EAP contact point – we ask to have one contact point per CoE/project, but there may be several users involved.

How to get support?

A contact point is provided for each software, and we have a ticketing system for system access issues.

Phase 2 of the EUPEX Early Access Programme

EUPEX aims to help develop a community of users around EUPEX technologies, by sharing lessons learnt, good practices, tools, and by collecting user feedback. Once the EUPEX target Pilot is ready, we will open it to a large spectrum of potential users.
